Ingo Maurer - Lacrime del Pescatore
Wonderful suspension from the well-known designer Ingo Maurer, who died recently (1932 - 2019)
All lamps made by this Master are wonderful but the “Fisherman’s Tears” is among the most appreciated for its originality. He took the cue from a trip he did to Venice; as he himself recounted "35 years ago on the waters of the Venice Lagoon I admired the fishing nets covered with endless drops of water. Looking at the reflections in the morning sunlight, I felt like those were fisher men's tears."
The lamp is made from 3 nylon nets of different sizes and a total of 385 crystals.
Also included is the original light source "Use Me W" ( Designed in 2010 by Ingo Maurer) . With the Osram halogen spot recommended by ingo maurer
The whole structure is illuminated with this lamp of 11 cm ø, which is separately attached to the wall.
the crystals are cut in a curious way so that they absorb and display more colors, we added some detailed photos of a crystal
Thanks to the light projected on the composition, the environment is filled with reflections that recall drops of water. It is wonderful the way Ingo Maurer manages to convey the same emotions he felt during his trip, to all the people admiring this extraordinary lamp today.
