Crystallized mineral, exceptionally large piece of Silicon Carbide, also known as carborundum. Natural Silicon Carbide, 'moissanite' is extremely rare on earth, This is only found in very small quantities.
The stone displays a beautiful color palette both at the front of the mass and on the sides and back.
The mineral is held in place by a bronze bracket. Comes with its contemporary lampshade from the 60s.
In good and working condition, minimal signs of use and age.
