Paul Vermeire (1928–1974) was a Belgian artist known for his work as a ceramist, glass artist, and painter. He studied at the Hoger Sint-Lukasinstituut in Ghent and the Steurbautschool of art under Jos Trotteyn. Vermeire was involved in notable projects, including assisting René Magritte with a mural at the Casino in Knokke and creating numerous religious artworks like the Crossroads in various churches. His artistic legacy includes a variety of ceramic works such as bas-reliefs and monumental ceramics.
