Very early design by Aldo Tura (1909 - 1963), important period between 1940-1950, when he was just setting up his furniture workshop in Milan.

The wooden lamp with a pair of carved birds is mounted on a green marble base, which is labeled at the bottom. The birds are beautifully crafted and have typical features from the Art Deco period.
The wooden top of the lamp is held together by a wrought ring.
